Public Comment

Community input is an important part of the budget process. Based on past meetings, public comment may be allowed during this session.

If public comment is accepted:

  • The submission deadline will likely be 4:00 PM on April 21
  • Instructions will be shared through the district website or official communications

MAY 2025 BOND MEASURE – MEASURE 34-342

Election Date: Tuesday, May 20, 2025

Overview

The Tigard-Tualatin School Board has placed a $421.3 million bond measure on the May 2025 ballot. If approved, the bond would fund major improvements throughout the district, including:

  • Replacing Fowler Middle School
  • Renovations to Bridgeport, Byrom, Durham, and Mary Woodward Elementary Schools
  • Modernizing heating and cooling systems
  • Upgrades to school safety, security, and fire systems
  • Updated technology and instructional materials
  • Repairs to roofs, plumbing, siding, and wiring
  • Auditorium improvements at both high schools
  • Field and playground upgrades, including accessible play structures

Tax Information

If passed, the bond is projected to maintain the current tax rate of $3.10 per $1,000 of assessed property value.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN BOARD MEETINGS

All TTSD School Board meetings (except executive sessions) are open to the public. Families and community members are invited to listen, observe, or participate by submitting a comment.

Submitting a Public Comment

To comment, email jwoodford@ttsd.k12.or.us no later than 4:00 PM on the day of the meeting.

Include the following:

• Your community or neighborhood
• The topic of your comment

You may:
